Kendrick is the son of Carolyn McDougald and Kenneth McDougald. He is the grandson of Nellie Baker of Benson, NC, the late Elder J.T. Baker and Mr. & Mrs. Myles McDougald of Benson, NC. He is a 1996 graduate of South Johnston High School. He is currently taking classes at Fayetteville Technical Community College to become a licensed funeral director. Kendrick began working with Dafford Funeral Home, Inc. in 2005.
He is a member of Johnson Chapel in Benson, NC. Kendrick and his wife, Desha, live in Benson, NC and they have one son, Bradley. Kendrick also enjoys fishing and hunting.
