Marvin L. Moore

Mr. Marvin L. Moore, 59, of 72 Rad Street, Lillington, passed away August 4, 2020. He leaves to cherish his memories: mother - Maxine Moore of the home; sons - Patrick Lee Moore (LaQuonya) and James Marquis McDougald of Lillington, and Antonio Moore; grandchildren - Zariyah, Zeveah, Zachariyah, Justice, Ta’Marion and Ta”Marra; sister - Janet Moore of Lillington; brother - John Kenneth Moore of Garner; maternal aunts whom were reared as sisters - Betty Kelly (Johnny) of Greensboro and Frances Matthews (Aubrey) of Johnsonville; paternal aunt - Mary McLean Elder of Newburgh, NY; great aunt - Margie McNeill of Lillington; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

The viewing will be Monday, August 10, 2020 from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm at the Dafford Funeral Home, Angier, with no more than 10 individuals at any one time.

The funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Norrington A.M.E. Zion Church, 184 Norrington Road, Lillington, with no more than 50 people present. Masks are required and practice social distancing.

Burial will follow in the Norrington A.M.E. Zion Church Cemetery, Lillington.
