Mr. Dafford has been a licensed mortician for over 35 years. He is a lifelong resident of Dunn, NC and a 1965 graduate of Harnett High School. "Bo", as he is better known as, graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1969 with an AA degree in Mortuary Science. His military experience includes serving one tour in the Republic of Vietnam from 1970-1972 as a member of the United States Army. He is the president of our firm which has locations in Dunn, NC and Angier, NC. He has been a member of many organizations during his professional career which include: ten-year council member for the City of Dunn serving all ten years as Mayor Pro-tem, board of directors for Standard Bank (now RBC Centura back), board of directors for New Century Bank, member and past worshipful master of the Beauty of Dunn Masonic Lodge # 155, F & AM, member and past president of the Funeral Directors and Morticians Association of N.C., Inc., and member of the National Funeral Directors and Morticians Association, Inc. He is a member of Dunn Chapel F.W.B. Church in Dunn, NC and a member of the board of trustees. His management skills include family counseling, procurement and filing of all VA benefits, pre-need counseling, clinical preparations and after-care programming. Mr. Dafford married Mary E. Wise and they have two children, Teresa and Dallas, Jr. He has three grandsons, Julian, Cameron, and Caden. He enjoys fishing and especially playing golf.
