Lawrence “Peter” Cole, Jr.

Mr. Lawrence "Peter" Cole, Jr., 78, of 484 Massengill Farm Road, Benson, passed away Friday, November 15, 2019.

Survivors: his wife - Katie Cole of the home; son - Donnell Cole of Clarksville, TN; daughters - Jill Cole Bell (Clinton) of Dacula, GA, Laura Shoemaker (Sheldon) of Fayetteville and Annette Williams of Benson; a very special daughter - Justice Stanton of Greensboro; grandchildren - Cori, Brandon, CJ, Katienne and Tanisha; great-grandchildren - Brycen, Gabriel and Ke'Maya; brothers - Tommy Cole (Dorothy) of Fayetteville and Larry Cole (Paulette) of Newton Grove; sisters - Helen Chesnut (Lenard) of Elizabethtown and Leolia (Freddie) of Benson; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The public viewing will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2019, from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm, at the Dafford Funeral Home, 707 East Edgerton Street, Dunn.

The funeral service will be conducted on Friday, November 22, 2019, at 1:00 pm,  at The Western Assembly Disciples of Christ Headquarters, 9766 U.S. Highway 701 South, Newton Grove.

Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
