Mr. Lewis D. Morris, Jr. 46, of 513 A South Pearl Street, Princeton, passed away June 30, 2019. The family is receiving friends at 57 Mackenzie Drive, Princeton.
"Dee" graduated from Cornerstone Chrisitain Correspondence School and enrolled at Fayetteville Community College to study body repair. He loved fishing, and admired cars.
Survivors: his loving wife - Tonya Morris; his mother - Mary Joyce Young of Lillington; sisters - Glenda Ann Vandergrift and Mary Ellen Vandergrift, both of Lillington; brothers - Tim Vandergrift of Fuquay-Varina, and Lamont Morris of Goldsboro; sons - Eden David Morris of Clayton, Lewis McLean of Charlotte, Brian Cooper of Ewin, DeAndre' Morris of Bunnlevel; one step-son - Tyquan Brooks of Fayetteville; daughter - De'Amani Morris of Bunnlevel; stepdaughters - Cerstin Greene of Angier, Jasmine Greene of Smithfield, and Taylor McKoy of Princeton; two grandchildren; mother and father-in-law - Deborah and Camilio McKoy of Clayton; sister-in-law - Tikita McKoy (Chris) of Hope Mills; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The public viewing will be held Saturday, July 6, 2019 at the Dafford Funeral Home Chapel, Dunn, from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm., and Sunday at the Conference Headquarters from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm.
The funeral service will be conducted Sunday, July 7, 2019 at 3:00 pm at the Cape Fear A Conference Headquarters, 25 Beaver Road, Erwin.
The burial will follow in the Bibleway Memorial Gardens, Linden.
