Norma Raines Obituary

Mrs. Norma Jean Raines, 63, of 2583 Arrowhead Road, Dunn, passed away August 22, 2019.   The family receiving friends at 2649 Arrowhead Road, Dunn. 

Survivors: husband - James Raines, Sr., of the home; daughter - Tina Walden of Dunn; sons - Tony (Reese) Raines of Sampson County, Emanuel (Mashekia) Raines of Lillington, James Raines, Jr. and DeQuincy Raines both of Dunn; eleven grandchildren, one great grandson, three step grandchildren;  her mother - Gennive Walden of Benson; sisters - Annie (Edward) Basker, Jenny (Larry) Warren all of Coats, Alma Walden and Carolyn Walden both of Benson; brothers - Charles Walden and Marshall (Shelia) Walden all of Coats, Mike (Priscilla) Walden of Erwin and Frankie (Saundra) Walden of Atlanta, GA; and host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The public viewing will be held on Friday, August 30, 2019, at the Dafford Funeral Home, Dunn, from 1:00 PM -  6:00 PM.

The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, August 31, 2019,12 Noon, at the Cape Fear A Conference Headquarters, 25 Beaver Road, Erwin.

Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
