Antonio Monroe Hayes, Sr.

Mr. Antonio Monroe Hayes, Sr., 45, of 28 Brookmere Apt D, Angier, passed away June 8, 2022. 

He was preceded in death by his Grandmother Della Hayes and Father James Daniels.

Tony passed away unexpectedly on June 8, 2022. He was 45 years old, having been born in Poughkeepsie, NY on November 19, 1976. For the last 15 years, Tony made his home in North Carolina with his wife and children. Tony enjoyed chess, fishing, cooking, and Sunday dinners with his family. Tony was an engaged grandfather and enjoyed car rides and playing with his grandsons. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and best friend.

In addition to his wife of 19 years, Adjani Hayes, he also leaves behind their four children- Shaquilla Hayes, Antonio Hayes Jr., Ajay-Marie Hayes, and Zepheniyah Hayes; two grandsons- Jhayden Hayes and Gionni Hayes; his mother- Lenora Hayes; sisters- Venus Hayes and Evita Hayes; aunt- Christine Harrison; uncle- Joshua Hayes; cousin- Kreston Harrison; and many deeply loved nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Viewing and Services will be Friday, June 17, 2022 @ 1PM-3PM at Dafford Funeral Home- Chapel, Angier, following the facilities guidelines for entrance and capacity.
