Apostle Stanley L. Carney, Sr.

We are saddened to announce that Apostle Stanley L. Carney, Sr., 71, of 7555 Firethorn Dr., Fayetteville, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024.

Apostle Carney leaves to cherish his memory his devoted and loving wife, Doris White Carney; daughter Tesha Carney, son Stanley (Shasta) Carney, Jr.; godchildren Bishop Patrick and Pastor Timiel Dewberry; grandchildren: Christopher, Marcus, Ashley, Stanley III, Daquan, Ellison, Diamond, Kaiya, A’Lyrrah, Zoe, Anthony, and Lonnie III; siblings: Annetta Soyode of MD, Mildred Thompson of MD, James Carney of NY, Eugene Carney of Maryland, Linda Sutton of NJ, Lewy Stephens of NC, and Prophet Sandra McDougald of NC; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, spiritual children, and friends

Public viewing will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024 from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Dafford Funeral Home of Angier, NC.

Funeral services  will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Deliverance Church International, 3328 Old Stage Road N, Angier, NC 27501.

Interment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery in Dunn, NC.
