Bessie McNeill

Mrs. Bessie McNeill, 88, of 10 South Thomas Court, Erwin, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023. The family will receive friends at the home of, Andrea McNeill, 3859 Bunnlevel-Erwin Rd, Erwin, daily 11AM- until.

Bessie was preceded in death by her husband- the late Herbert Cleve Lester McNeill; son- Cleveland Angelo McNeill; and parents - Marena and Thaddeus Spencer.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughters- Decherlyanne Johnson and Andrea Denise McNeill; three sisters-  Minister Barbara Spencer, Rena Seymore and Mary Thomas (Major); one brother- Rev. Johnny Spencer (Nadine); six  sister -in-laws- Clara Brown (Clary), Alberta McKoy (Aaron), Martha McNeill, Marie McNeill, Hattie Mae Smith, and Dorothy McNeill; one brother-in-law-  John T. McNeill; five grandchildren- Tyrone and Tiona Hayes, Taliesha and Kaechaun Johnson and Shatea McNeill; five great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Public viewing will be held at Dafford Funeral Home- Dunn, Friday, January 27, 2023, from 1PM-5PM. MASKS  ARE REQUIRED.

Funeral Service will be held at Cape Fear Conference A, Erwin, Saturday, January 28, 2023 @ 2PM, following the guidelines of the facility for entrance and capacity.

Interment will follow in the Riverside Community Cemetery, Erwin.
