Bishop Veorah Davis

Bishop Veorah Davis, 91, of 1568 Rim Rd, Fayetteville, passed away, October 25, 2023.

Bishop Davis leaves to cherish her memories, her beloved husband of 71 years of the home, Dr. Johnie C. Davis; children- Debbie Davis of Raeford, NC, Curtis (Lillian) Davis of Dumfries, VA, Billy (Betty) Peterkin of Raeford, NC, Eric (Terri) Davis of Waxhaw, NC, Jacqueline Davis of Lancaster, SC,  Karen (James) Young of Fayetteville, NC and Bishop Davis, affectionately known as BaBa, enjoyed spending time with her 20 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brother- Robert (Gladys) Bronson; two sisters-in-law- Betty McGill and Shirley Bronson; and a host of God-children, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held at Dafford Funeral Home- Dunn, Tuesday, November 7, 2023 from 1PM-6PM. MASKS ARE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED, and Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Miracle Temple Church, Fayetteville, from 4:30PM-5:55PM. 

Funeral services will begin at 6PM, following the guidelines of the church for entrance and capacity. 

Interment will follow in the Rockfish Memorial Park, Fayetteville on Thursday, November 9, 2023 @ 11AM.
