Cassie M. Brown

Mrs. Cassie M. Brown, 91, of 1005 Merry Street, Dunn, passed away October 31, 2021.  She leaves to cherish her memories: three children - Carrie J. Hollis (Larry) of Macon, Georgia, Sharon L. Williams (George) of Mitchellville, Maryland, and Harvey L. Brown, Jr. (Gwen) of Arlington, Texas; daughter-in-law - Yolanda Brown of Newark, D.E. grandchildren - Monique (Timothy), Keith, Brian (Sarah), Tamika (Eric), Nicole (Patrick), Y'Londa (Richard), Rochelle, LaKeisha (William), Keith J., George Jr., Harvey III (Callie), Tiffany, Deyanna (William), Timothy, Kadeem, Ayrion, Khalil; great-grandchildren - fifty-five; great-great-grandchildren - seven; god-children - Leroy, Valerie, Ronnie, Donald, Bryon; brothers - Willie McNeill (Martha) of Dunn, Jesse McNeill (Callie) of Linden, New Jersey, James McNeill (Earlene) of Dunn; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The public viewing will be  on Friday, November 12, 2021 from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm at the Dafford Funeral Home in Dunn. Masks are required to enter.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Erwin Church of God, 109 West "C" Street in Erwin. Masks are required and following the church’s guidelines for entrance, capacity, and social distancing.

Entombment will follow in the Harnett Devotional Gardens in Dunn.

The family requests only floor plants for the service. If donations are made, please make them to Mt. Zion Christian Fellowship Church Scholarship fund in her honor, 707 Susan Tart Road, Dunn.
