Mr. Charles Edward Covington, 70, of Benson, passed away May 10, 2021. He leaves to cherish his memories: his siblings - James Robinson (Marie) of Middleton, DE, Bishop Daniel Covington of Franklinton, Bishop Ernest Covington (Overseer Ella Joyce) of Selma, Willie Covington of Jacksonville, FL, Nelson Covington of Benson, Henry Covington (Jeanette) of Benson, Lillie McLaurin of Fayetteville, Naomi Lytello of Raleigh, Arletha Hewlett of Greenville, SC, Pastor Mae Hampton of Benson.

The public viewing will be Thursday, May 13, 2021 at the Dafford Funeral Home, Dunn, from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm, with no more than 10 individuals inside at one time. Masks are required and practice social distancing.

The graveside service will be conducted Friday, May 14, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn. Masks are required and practice social distancing.
