Charles Lindsey Obituary
Mr. Charles Lindsey, 71, CSM (Ret), of 1131 Grove St. Apt 2, Irvington, NJ, formerly of Godwin, passed away January 27, 2020. The family is receiving friends at 8442 Godwin-Falcon Road, Godwin.
He is survived by: his wife - Joann W. Lindsey; son - Charles Conrad Lindsey of Georgia; daughters - Latisha Lindsey of California, Christina Lindsey Nelson of Charlotte; brother - Raymond K. Lindsey, Sr. of Godwin; sisters - Barbara Lindsey of Newark, NJ., Eva Lindsey McGuire and Daisy Lindsey of Godwin; eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, Godson- Kamil Still, a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.
The public viewing will be at the Dafford Funeral Home, Dunn, Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 1PM - 5PM.
The funeral service will be conducted Sunday, February 2, 2020 @ 2PM at the Cape Fear A Conference Headquarters, Erwin.
Burial, with military honors, will be on Monday, February 3, 2020 @ 10AM @ Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Ft. Bragg.
