David Downey

Mr. David Downey, 84, of 68 Downey Road, Sanford, passed away July 3, 2021. He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and devoted wife - Linda Mae Downey; three children - Allen, Joey, and Wanda; three step-sons - Jerry, Michael, and David; one God child - Beautiful (Luis); one aunt - Ruth of Oxford; one sister-in-law - Josephine; three nephews - Herbert (Mint), Stevie (Sharon) of Manassas, VA and Rodney (Tami) of Woodbridge, VA; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The public viewing will be Sunday, July 11, 2021 from 10:30 am - 1:00 pm at the Dafford Funeral Home, Angier. Masks are required to enter.

A service will be conducted Sunday, July 11, 2021 at 2:00 pm inside the Mausoleum at Lee Memory Gardens, 2600 Hawkins Avenue, Sanford.

Entombment will follow at Lee Memory Gardens, Sanford.
