Deacon Odell "Big O" Surles

Mr. Odell “Big O” Surles, 76, of Bunnlevel, passed away November 25, 2023.

Family will receive friends at the home, Timothy and Patrice Williams, 30 Tank Hicks Ln, Bunnlevel, daily 3PM-7PM.

Big O leaves to cherish his memories, brothers- Charles Surles of Erwin, NC and

Claudie Surles of Lillington, NC; special nieces- Patrice (Timothy) Williams, Timetra Williams

(Jason) Sanders and Shauntell Surles; aunt - Kathleen Brassell; bonus children- James F. Smith and

Gloria Smith; bonus grandchildren- Angela, Freddie, Myesha, D’Andrea and Asinta Smith; bonus great grandchildren- DaJohn, Trevone and Taques Williams, Zaryia and Kendarious Smith, Ja’Kaylen McNeill, Jacourious McLean, Dmoni Smith, Freddie Smith Jr., Anyiah Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, bonus family and friends.

Public viewing will be held at McLean Chapel FWB Church, Bunnlevel, Sunday, December 3, 2023, from 12PM-12:55PM.

Funeral Service will follow @ 1PM, following the guidelines of the church for entrance and capacity.

Interment will follow in the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Fort Liberty, Monday, December 4, 2023 @12PM with Military Honors.
