Mrs. Denise Cooper McDougald, 66, of 203 Cedarwood Drive, Erwin, passed away January 8, 2021. She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband of 32 years - Walter McDougald Jr.; daughter - Donya Cooper of the home; step children - ShaRhonda Allen, Walter Allen of Douglasville, GA, Tara Partin (Steve) of Angier, Curtis McDougald of Erwin; grandchildren - Brian Morris, Daniel Brady, Danielle Brady of the home, Jada (DJ) of Knightdale; step grandchildren - Shanya McLean, Talib Victor of Douglasville, GA, Dea'ja Allen of Raleigh, Brianna Plummer of Benson, Daisean Plummer, Amara James, Tania James, Jarqun James of Angier; great grandchildren - AuBrianna, AuDrey, A'laya, D'Yanni; step mother - Dorothy Cooper of Jacksonville, FL; brothers - Daniel Cooper, Jr. (Sandy) of Newark, DE, Kenneth Cooper of Jacksonville FL; sisters - Gwen Bethea, Robin Cameron (Reavis), Yvette Jerrido of Erwin; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The public viewing will be at Victory Deliverance Center, Benson, Saturday, January 16, 2021 from 12:30 pm - 1:45 pm. Masks are required, practice social distancing, and following the church’s guidelines for entrance and capacity.

The funeral service will be conducted Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Victory Deliverance Center, Benson.  Masks are required, practice social distancing, and following the church’s guidelines for entrance and capacity.

Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
