Donna A. Thurman

Mrs. Donna Arnold Thurman, 66, of 1503 Old Stage Road, Erwin, passed away August 31, 2020. She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband - George Thurman; children - Denise Nichole, Kevin George; brother - James Randolph Arnold of Greensboro; brothers and sisters-in-law - Betty Arnold of Erwin, James and Marilyn Thurman of Fayetteville, Ralph and Brenda Thurman, Floria Thurman of Dunn, Linda Trice of Detroit, MI, Carnell and Gloria Robinson of Dunn, Sylvia Williams of Richmond, VA, Jacqueline and Dereck Whittenburg of Raleigh, Annie Arnold of Dunn; uncle - Henry Louis Bailey of Norfolk, VA; aunts - Peggy R. Thurman of Brooklyn, NY, Mattie Bailey of Erwin, Mary Bailey Clark of Dunn; She will also be remembered lovingly by her nieces, nephews, her many cousins from the Arnold, Bailey, Ryals and McKoy families and a host of friends, former students and co-workers who will forever treasure the impact she made on their lives.

The funeral service will be conducted Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Mt. Pisgah Harnett Original Freewill Baptist Church, Erwin.

Due to seating limitations because of social distancing, the church seating will only allow space for immediate family and close friends. Masks are required. Temperature scans will be conducted and no one will be seated until the family arrives.

The family invites you to join the services virtually. Service will be live-streamed via the Mount Pisgah Church's website, YouTube page and FaceBook page.

Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
