We are saddened to announce that Dr. Sharon D. Smith, 60, of 61 Crestview Drive, Angier, passed away August 10, 2024. 

The Smith family will receive family and friends at the home daily from 1:00 until 8:00 pm.

Dr. Sharon leaves to cherish her precious memories, a loving brother- Michael Smith; one nephew- Devonte Michael Heggie; one niece- Kiairah Louise Smith; six step siblings-  Willie Edward Bracey, Samuel Bracey, Barbara Ann Hammonds, Herbert Bracey, Leslie Bracey and Wayne Bracey; one uncle- Lynn Council; one God Brother- Xavier Ellis (“Big Brother”); and a host of other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024 from 1:00 until 5:00 pm at Dafford Funeral Home in Angier, NC. 

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 3:30 pm at Dafford Funeral Home Chapel in Angier, NC, following the guidelines of the chapel for entrance and capacity.

Interment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
