Mr. Elbert Rex Jones, 68, of 9104 US Hwy. 50 North, Benson, passed away May 18, 2021. Due to Covid precautions, the family respectfully request no visitors at the home.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his brother - Roy Jones (Angela) of Dunn; nieces - Meta Cameron (James) of Willow Spring, Michelle Jones of Greenville, Teresa Jones of Maryland, Renee Jones of Dunn; nephews - Andre Austin (Lisa) of Maryland, Michael Austin (Lendsey) of Maryland; brother-in-law - Oscar Austin of Maryland; fiance' - Mozelle Wright of Benson; foster daughter - Louise Wright Taylor (Johnnie) of Benson; godsons - Elijah Richardson of Benson, Larry Glover of Dunn.
The public viewing will be Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the Dafford Funeral Home, Dunn, from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm with no more than 10 individuals inside at one time. Masks are required and practice social distancing.
The graveside service will be conducted Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Resthaven Cemetery, 500 South Burke Street, Dunn, with masks required and practice social distancing.
