Elder James Lee "Tony" Gerald

Mr. James L. Gerald, 67, of 1001 N. McKay Ave., Dunn, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024.

Elder James leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters- Latanya Gerald-Ruffin of Louisville, KY, and Yulonda A. Gerald-Matthews of Dunn, NC; two sons-in-law- Gregory L. Ruffin of Louisville, KY, and Jeremy F. Matthews of Dunn, NC; three granddaughters- Laquasia T. Gerald-Lawless of Louisville, KY, Infinity McCoy, and Jamia McCoy of Dunn, NC; three great-granddaughters- Ryah Lawless and Nylah Lawless of Louisville, KY, and La’Raiiah Stancil of Dunn, NC; three great-grandsons- Kaleb Johnson, Aiden Gerald, and DaMari Lawless of Louisville, KY; two brothers- Westley Dixon and Michael Dixon of Maryland; Blondie Gerald - Young (close auntie) of Fayetteville NC and Edna Gerald Khan (close auntie) of Greenbelt Maryland; Murray Gerald Jr. of Newton Grove, NC (close uncle); a host of other relatives, and friends. 

Public viewing will be held at Dafford Funeral Home- Dunn, Friday, March 1, 2024, from 1PM-5PM. MASKS ARE REQUIRED.

Funeral Service will be held at Dafford Funeral Home Chapel- Dunn, Saturday, March 2, 2024 @ 1PM, following the guidelines of the chapel for entrance and capacity.

Interment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
