Elder Rodney McCoy, 65, of 711 East Divine Street, Dunn, passed away July 15, 2021. He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife - Mrs. Beatrice McCoy of the home; daughter - Jennet Leach of Creedmore; grandchildren - Jermaine Leach, Alfred Davenport, Rodney McCoy, Aleah Williams; brothers - Anthony (Pamlor) McCoy of Cameron, Elliott Troy, James Ray of Fayetteville; sister Wanda (Reggie) of Winston Salem; sisters in-law - Sarah C. Blue, Henrietta Troy of Fayetteville; other in-laws - Willie Ray (Rebecca) of Dunn, Evelyn Hill of Raleigh, Paul Thompson (Annie) of Dunn, Ella Thompson of Dunn, Patricia Moore (Ennis) of Dunn, Steve Thompson of Dunn, Addie Alexander (Charles) of Cadiz Kentucky, Earl Thompson (Sandra) of Dunn, Helen Johnson (Willard) of Covington, GA.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
The public viewing will be Sunday, July 25, 2021 at the International Fellowship Ministries Church, 6974 Raeford Road, Fayetteville, from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm. Masks are highly recommended.
The funeral service will be conducted Sunday, July 25, 2021 at 2:00 pm, at the International Ministries Church, following the facility's guidelines for entrance, capacity and social distancing.
Burial will follow in the Sandhills State Veteran Cemetery, Ft. Bragg on Monday, July 26, 2021 at 11:00 am.
