Elder Vander Williams, Sr., 74, of 3200 North Spring Branch Road, Dunn, passed away May 20, 2021. He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of 54 years - Earthly Christine Williams of Dunn; daughter - Candace Benita Williams of Dunn; son - Vander Lee Williams, Jr. (Tracy) of Fayetteville; goddaughters - Chona Stewart of Dunn, Jennifer Marks of Dunn; grandchildren - Vander Lee Williams, III “Tre”, Jada Leigh Williams and Bailey Leigh Williams; god-grandchildren - Antonio Stewart (Diamond) of Dunn, Devon Stewart (Trinity) of Dunn; brothers - Ernest Williams of Salemburg,  Kenny Williams (Deloris) of Autryville, Esterline Howard of Salemburg, Pastor Glen Williams (Patricia) of Dunn; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The public viewing will be Saturday, May 29, 2021 at the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Dunn, from 11:00 am - 12:50 pm. Masks are recommended and following the church’s guidelines for entrance, capacity, and social distancing.

The funeral service will be conducted Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Dunn, with masks recommended and following the church’s guidelines for entrance, capacity and social distancing.

Burial will follow in the Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Autryville.
