We are saddened to announce that Elder Wayne F. Brooks, 43, of 165 Bay Tree Lane, Sanford, passed away on June 26, 2024.

The family will receive friends daily between the hours of 12PM - 5PM.

Elder Wayne leaves to cherish his memories, wife- Lisa Brooks; four children- Madison, Elijah, Emoni and Harmony; siblings- Wesley Brooks, (Ne'Kea), Darius Brooks, and Clarece Brooks; grandmother- Theresa Wigfall; mother-n-law- Mary Mendes; three brothers-n-law; one sister-n-law; four uncles- Michael Harris (Yvetta), Michael Brooks, Calvin Lane, and Tracy Nickerson; three aunts- Lawanda Coston (Ronald), Denise Nickerson, and Joanna Simmons (Joseph); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and his Temple of New Beginnings Church family.

Funeral Service will be held at Dafford Funeral Home Chapel, Angier, Saturday, July 6, 2024 @ 11AM, following the guidelines of the chapel for entrance and capacity. Flowers are welcomed, but the family is respectfully requesting that they be floor or potted plants.
