Mrs. Elouise Elliott Davis, 80, of 7780 Elliott Bridge Road, Spring Lake, passed away November 27, 2020. She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter - Brenda Matthews of Spring Lake: one son-in-law - Emanuel, Sr. of Coats; grandchildren - Emanuel Matthews, Jr., Nekita Shipmon (Johnee’) of Spring Lake; adopted grandchildren - Lamarius and Nathalie Bell of Bunnlevel, Michael and Tashika Smith of Raleigh: a granddaughter-in-law - Lindsay Matthews of Charlotte; six great grandchildren - Quadasha Spearman, Tahmaya Coleman, Karly Coleman, Amaya Bell, Layla Bell, and Lorren Shipmon; three great great grandchildren - Kallan Santos, Em’Ari and Zyla Spearman; her step-children - Robert Earl Davis, Patricia Davis both of Bunnlevel, Joe Davis (Joyce) of Sanford; her goddaughter - Lisa Williams of Georgia; seven sisters - Mary Crowder of Bunnlevel, Shirley Bell (James), Mary Louise Elliott, and Ella McNeill of Spring Lake, Beulah Elliott of Philadelphia, PA, Rosa Williams of Lillington, Lenora Davis (Bishop Eugene) of Bunnlevel; two brothers - Bishop Purdie Elliott (Ida) of Fayetteville, Robert Elliott (Addie) of Willow Spring; a special cousin - Dorothy Watts of Dunn; her caregiver - Teresa Brewington of Lillington; generations of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a plethora of friends. Her life truly impacted so many people.
The viewing will be Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at the Dafford Funeral Home Chapel, Angier, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, with no more than 10 individuals inside at one time. Masks are required and practice social distancing.
The funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Dafford Funeral Home Chapel, Angier, with no more than 50 people present. Masks are required and practice social distancing.
Burial will follow in the Anderson Creek Christian Center Memorial Gardens, Linden.
