Flora J. Taylor

Mrs. Flora J. Taylor, 91, of 187 Mt. Olive Church Road, Lillington, passed away May 3, 2021. Mother Flora leaves to cherish her loving memories: her children - Kenneth V. Taylor (Vanessa) of Spring Lake, Karen T. Horton (Ronald) of Columbia, Sharon T. Gilmer (William) of Durham; grandchildren - Sheronda Lovelace of Georgia, Terrell Taylor of Durham, Brandon Taylor of Cameron, Brittanie Thomas and William “Will” Gilmer of Durham; eight great grandchildren; daughter-in-law - Mrs. Evelyn McKoy of Spring Lake; a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

The public viewing will be Monday, May 10, 2021 at the Dafford Funeral Home, Angier, from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm, with no more than 10 individuals inside at one time. Masks are required and practice social distancing.

The funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Cape Fear A Conference Headquarters, 25 Beaver Road, Erwin, with masks required and following the facility's guidelines for entrance, capacity and social distancing.

Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive U.M. Church Cemetery, Lillington.
