Frances Lee Blue

Mrs. Frances Lee Blue, 93, of 110 Mars Drive, Dunn, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2022.

Mrs. Frances was educated in the Harnett County School system. She joined Davis Chapel Church at an early age.  After leaving North Carolina she moved to New York, where she continued her walk with the Lord and joined Walls Temple African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church of Albany, New York.  There  she faithfully served on the Usher Board. She worked with the State of New York  and retired after many years. Frances later moved back to North Carolina and joined Davis Chapel Church and continued her faith with God.

Frances was preceded in death by the late Roger and Rosie Smith Grady.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter- Ann Blue of Dunn, NC; one great-grand daughter; two brothers- Weldon Grady of Smithfield, NC and Fredrick Grady (Doris) of Erwin, NC; one sister-n-law- Julia Manigo of Fayetteville, NC ; one aunt- Matlice Bailey of Erwin, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held at Dafford Funeral Home- Dunn, Tuesday, August 2, 2022, 1PM-5PM. Masks are required.

Funeral Service will be held at Cape Fear Conference A, Erwin, Wednesday, August 3, 2022 @ 2PM, following the guidelines of the facility for entrance and capacity.

Burial will follow at the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
