Hazel Austin

Mrs. Hazel Austin, 90, of Hampton, Virginia, formerly of Harnett County, passed away May 21, 2022.  

She was the daughter of the late Eddie and Mary "Samp" McNeill.  She was the last of her 8 siblings who preceded her in death.  She lived in Harnett County until moving to Virginia as a young adult where she made her home with her late husband Arthur Austin.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Grace Calloway niece of the home in Hampton, Virginia, several other nieces, nephews, several great nieces, great nephews, caring friends and a host of people she has touched throughout her life.

Funeral services will be Sunday, May 29, 2022 @ 1PM at the Anderson Creek Christian Center, Linden.  Public viewing will be @ the church Sunday  from 12Noon - 1PM, following the church's guidelines for entrance and capacity.  Burial will follow in the Anderson Creek Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
