Jaden Lamont Smith

Mr. Jaden Lamont Smith, 19, of 101 Wood Ridge Dr., Dunn, North Carolina, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022. The  Family will receive friends from 3PM - 9PM at the home of Tina Smith 3093 Beaver Dam Rd, Erwin, NC.  Masks are required.

He was the son of Melissa Smith and Carlos Davis. and joined Mt. Pisgah Harnett O. F. W. B. Church in 2012.  As an active member of the church, he participated in Youth Choir and YPCL.  Jaden also ocassionally drove the golf carts and assisted the Youth Ministry with the B3 Kids Church.  He was educated in the Harnett County School System, graduating from Triton High School in 2021.  After high school, he matriculated to St. Augustine's University in Raleigh, and had completed his freshman year and made the Dean's List for the spring semester.

His memories will forever be cherished in the lives of his family: mother - Melissa Smith (Adrian): father - Carlos Davis: grandmother - Jennifer Smith: grandfather -  Walter McDougald:  uncles -  Larynell Smith, Angelo McDougald, Terry Davis, William Davis, Walter Davis, and Charles McCoy: aunt - Shawana Cameron (Britton): brother -  Emmanual Fuller: sisters -  Nasheta Amerson, Shanika Malloy, Destiny Hampton, Angel Blue, Traci Blue, and Khloe Fuller: nieces -  Maigan, Amiyah, and Nyla: nephew -  Derrick: great uncles -  Charles Chance, Chester Smith, Michael Smith, Larry McDougald, Danny McDougald, Robert Sanders (Evelyn) and Anthony McDougald:  great aunts -  Willa McCoy, Sandra Evans (Thomas), Gail Thompson (Omar), Phyllis Phillips, Brenda McKoy (Larry), Ann C. Holliday (Levon) and Delores Surles and numerous devoted cousins, family, and friends.

Viewing Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Dafford Funeral Home Dunn 1 PM - 5 PM.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, May 15, 2021 at 3PM at the Cape Fear Conference A Headquarters, 25 Beaver Road, Erwin.  Masks and social distancing will follow the guidelines of the Conference Center.

Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
