Mrs. Joe Ann Taylor, 68, of 708 Lincoln Street, Dunn, passed away September 10, 2021. She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband of 52 years - James Louis Taylor; daughters - Co Pastor Delores Williams (Donnell) of Godwin, Betty Taylor of Concord, Santosha Taylor of Dunn; sons - James E. Taylor of Dunn, Tony L. Taylor of Butner, Timmy Taylor of Fayetteville, Calvin Taylor of Saint Augustine, FL., Tyrone Taylor (Sabrina) of Roseboro; sisters - Nelly Terry (Earl) of Erwin, Jerryline Alston (Pastor James) of Dunn, Annie Alford of Dunn, Shirley Redding of Dunn, Linda Elliott (Milton) of Sampson County; brothers - Alexander Alford (Kathy) of Benson, Larry Alford of Dunn; brothers-in-law - John Taylor of Dunn, Bishop Frank Taylor (Willa) of Coats, Woodrow Taylor of Dunn, Charles Taylor of Dunn; sisters in-law - Dollie R. Taylor of Sampson County, Christine Sums of Erwin, 60 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; She had a faithful prayer partner and bonus daughter - Essie Council.
The public viewing will be Saturday, September 18, 2021 at the Dafford Funeral Home, Dunn. from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm, with masks required to enter.
The funeral service will be conducted Sunday, September 19, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Cape Fear A Conference Headquarters, 25 Beaver Road, Erwin. Masks are required and following the facility's guidelines for entrance, capacity and social distancing.
Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn
