Joelina McDougald

Mrs. Joelina McDougald, 71, of 5300 US 401 North, Fuquay-Varina, passed away February 10, 2021. She leaves to cherish her memories - her loving husband of fifty-one years - Jessie H. McDougald, Sr. of Fuquay-Varina; children - Michelle Leach (Andrew) of Fuquay-Varina, Jessie McDougald, Jr. of Holly Springs; a special granddaughter - Tiara McDougald of Lillington; grandsons - Jalen McDougald of Raleigh, Malik McDougald of Fuquay-Varina; another special daughter - Lakeisha Pipkin of Lillington; a special son - James Cofield of Holly Springs; sisters - Barbara McKoy (Earl) of Lillington, Hester McLean (Joe) of Lillington, Verlista McCloud (Sylvester) of Greensboro, Rev. Sarah Bass of Bunnlevel, Faye Spence of Knightdale; brother - Joe Spence of Fuquay-Varina; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The public viewing will be Monday, February 15, 2021 at the Dafford Funeral Home Chapel, Angier, from 10:00 am - 10:50 am with no more than 10 individuals inside at one time. Masks are required and practice social distancing.

The funeral service will be conducted Monday, February 15, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Dafford Funeral Home Chapel, Angier, with no more than 50 people present. Masks are required and practice social distancing.

Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, 500 South Burke Street, Dunn.
