Leacon McKoy

Mr. Leacon McKoy, 52, of 2309 Byrds Mill Road, Erwin, passed away November 4, 2023.

Leacon leaves to cherish his memories, wife of 18 years- Anita McKoy; daughter- Keairra J. Chronicle; mother- Diane Hart (Henry); sisters- Patrice McKoy, Teresa Barnes (Adonis), and Shawnte Hart of Erwin; aunts- Regina Surles, Shirley Solomon, Janie Owens (Bobby), Linda Surles and Carolyn Shaw; uncles- Joseph McKoy (Edna), Perry McKoy, Harvey Walden (Marva), Danny Shaw and Andrew Shaw (Dena); mother- n-law- Lillie McKoy (Curtis), sister-n-law- Carol Speaks (John), Candy Aracena (Joaquin); brothers-n-law- Rodney Lee (Felicia) and Timmie Lee (Nicole); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held at Zion Temple COGOP- Erwin, Friday, November 10, 2023, from 4PM-6PM.

Funeral Service will be held at Erwin Church of God, Erwin, Saturday, November 11, 2023 @ 2PM, following the guidelines of the church for entrance and capacity.

Interment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
