Linda Killett Obituary

Mrs. Linda Killett, 75, of 2775 Autry Mill Rd, Godwin, passed away June 5, 2022.  She was the daughter of the late John C. and Novella "Tincy" Autry in Sampson County.

Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.  She loved spending time with her family and friends.  She was tenderly known for her classy style, no matter the occasion or where she went, and her sense of humor was unmatched.

She joined Warren Chapel FWB Church at an early age and worked in many capacities as a member.  She also was a graduate of Pleasant Grove High School in Sampson County, class of 1965.

She leaves to cherish her memories:  son - Monque Kesie Autry; daughter - Scarlet Smith (Elijah) of the home; five grandchildren - Rashawn,Jaquana, Lashann, Dylan, Kyle and Emya;  sisters - Alice Butler (Fermond), and Lula Wortham;  three sisters-in-law - Geneva Gerald (Clarence) of Raleigh, Elma McLean (William) of Fayetteville, and Carolyn Killett of Dunn;  two brothers-in-law - Alfonza McNeil and Bobby Butler; one aunt - Josephine McLean of Baltimore, MD.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends.

The Celebration of Life service will be Friday, June 10, 2022 @ 1PM at the Cape Fear Conference A Headquarters, 25 Beaver Road, Erwin, following the facility's guidelines for entrance and capacity.  Burial will follow in the Autry-Killett Cemetery, Godwin.
