Mary L. Council

Mrs. Mary Louise Council, 74, of 503 South Little Avenue, Dunn, passed away August 23, 2020. She leaves to cherish her memories: Her husband - Jimmy Council of 51 years; daughters - Essie M. Council of the home, Deloris Williams (Wayne) of Newton Grove; special daughter - Evangelist Deloris Williams (Donnell); son - Jimmy Lee Council (Andrea) of Dunn; brothers - Ralph Hough of Camden SC, Rufus Hough (Connie) and Willie Evert Hough; sister - Fay Hough all of Bethune, SC; 6 grandchildren, 4 adopted grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Dafford Funeral Home, Dunn, from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm with no more than 10 individuals at any one time.

The funeral service will be conducted Sunday, August 30, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Westwood Church of God of Prophecy, 4448 Bunnlevel Erwin Road, Erwin, with no more than 50 people present.

Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn    

Masks are required and practice social distancing.
