Mr. Michael A. Murphy, 57, of 141 Pine Oak Lane, Dunn, passed away December 2, 2021. He leaves to cherish his memories: his daughters - Shaquana N. Giles, Andrea C. Murphy, Tamra S. Murphy, Tasha A. Murphy all of Dunn; grandchildren - Ariyanna, Jayden Murphy, Azriya Murphy, Ty'Mere Goins, Kaydence Williams, Kaiden, Aubree, Ahmir Pew; brothers - Mark Edmonds of Florida, Marion "Pest" Murphy (Viva) of Dunn; sister - Michelle Murphy of Ridge Spring, SC.; uncles - Will "Bo" Edmonds of Columbia, SC., Robert Murphy (Priscilla Joy); aunts - Louise Smith, Tempie Bullock (Raydolph), Wilmia Murphy, all of Newton Grove; Myrlin Murphy of Chapel Hill; a host nephews, cousins and friends.
The public viewing will be Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at the Dafford Funeral Chapel, Dunn, from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Masks are required for entrance.
The funeral service will be conducted Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Dafford Funeral Home Chapel, Dunn, with 75 people allowed inside. Masks are required and practice social distancing.
Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
