Mr. Charles Currie

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Charles Currie, 79, of 200 Norrington St., Lillington, on Saturday, February 8, 2025.

The Currie Family will receive family and friends at the home of Ms. Pearl Ray, 2858 Old US 421, Lillington, NC, daily from 3:00 until 7:00 pm.

Mr. Charles leaves to cherish his memories; a loving wife- Ethel Mae Currie; one son- Paul McLean “Bo”; four daughters- Paulette McKoy (Sam), Elder Renee Parks (Tony), Sheila McLean, and Faith Middleton (Daniel); bonus children- Mary Matthews, Rosa Parks (Charles), Joe Matthews, and Larry Matthews (Shirley); two sisters- Pearlie Ray and Bessie Elliott; one sister-in-law- Nora Currie; twelve grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held at Norrington AMEZ Church, Lillington, Sunday, February 16, 2025, from 1PM-1:55PM.

Funeral Service will follow @ 2PM, following the guidelines of the church for entrance and capacity.

Interment will follow in the Norrington AMEZ Church Cemetery, Lillington.
