Mr. Charles "Flat Top" Warren, Jr.

Mr. Charles 'Flat Top" Warren, Jr., 81, of 1414 Chicopee Rd, Benson, passed away, November 16, 2023.

The family will receive friends until 9PM, daily. MASKS ARE OPTIONAL. Charles was the son of the late Charles and Vennie Verlene Evans Warren of Johnston County.  He graduated from Forrest Hill High School in Four Oaks and after graduation, enlisted in the U. S. Army.  After his years of military service, he went to Barber School in Raleigh, established a successful career as a barber, owning the Crescent Barber Shop for over 20 years.

Charles was a loving husband, brother, grandad and uncle.  Surviving to cherish his memories are:  his loving wife of over 25 years, Linda Williams Warren; sister - Geneva Warren Covington; brother - Michael (Linda) Sturdivant; grandson - A J Jackson; special brother - Rayvell (Stella) Peacock; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held at St. James DOC- Benson, Tuesday, November 21, 2023, from 11AM-11:55AM.

Funeral Service will follow @ 12PM, following the guidelines of the church for entrance and capacity.

Interment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
