We regret to announce the passing of Mr. George Smith, 88, of 3919 Bunnlevel Erwin Road, Erwin, on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. 

Public viewing will be held at Dafford Funeral Home Chapel, Dunn, Wednesday, June 10, 2026 from 1:00 PM- 7:00 PM,  the family will be present from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM.

Funeral Service will be held at Oak Grove AME Zion Church, Erwin, on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 1:00 PM, following the guidelines of the church for entrance and capacity.

Interment will follow in the Riverside Community Cemetery, Erwin.
