Mr. Gerard Walker

We are deeply saddened to announce that Mr. Gerard Walker, 67, of 611 S. Powell Avenue, Apt# 1519, Dunn, passed away, Monday, June 3, 2024.

Gerard leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters; Ms. Gleana "Sandy" Blanks of Clinton, NC and Mrs. Shannon Blanks Owens (James) of Autryville, NC; Four grandchildren, Shaniy and Kayden Owens of Autryville, NC and Samara Skenandore and Shai Blanks of Clinton, NC; Special niece, Mrs.Theresa Wright (Katina) of Killeen, TX; Special nephew, Mr. Bernard "Link" Wright (Vonetta) of Upper Marlboro, MD; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 2:00 until 2:55 pm, at the Trinity AME Zion Church, Dunn, following the guidelines of the church for entrance and capacity.  The Celebration of Life Service will follow at 3PM.  Interment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
