Mr. James Leslie Smith

It is with heartfelt sympathy that we announce the passing of Mr. James Smith, 82, of Durham, formerly of Erwin, on June 19, 2025.

The family will receive friends daily at the home of his brother, Mr. Eugene Smith, 94 Beaver Road, Erwin, from 4PM - 8PM, and at the home of William and Mary Autry, 5842 Sandstone Drive, Durham. 

Public viewing will be held at Dafford Funeral Home, Dunn, Thursday, June 26, from 1PM-5PM.

Funeral Service will be held at Dafford Funeral Home Chapel, Dunn, Friday, June 27 @ 1PM, following the guidelines of the chapel for entrance and capacity.

Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Erwin.
