Mr. James O.  "Simon"  Williams,  66, of 1699 Old Stage Rd., S. Erwin, passed away September 27, 2023.

Simon leaves to cherish his memories, wife- Christine Williams, wife of 43 years, of Erwin, NC; two sons- James Jr. Williams (Felicia) of Norrington, NC, and Timothy Williams of Erwin, NC; three grandchildren- Jikaria, Shamar and Simone Williams; five brothers- Deacon Croon Jr. Williams (Pastor Martha) of Bunnlevel, NC, Henry Williams (Tonya) of Newton Grove, NC, Rickey Williams (Lakeisha) of Lillington, NC, Chico Williams of Godwin, NC, and Michael Williams (Charlotte), Godwin, NC; three sisters- Lillie Godwin of Godwin, NC, Queen Evans (Ron) of Fayetteville, NC, Sheila Morrison (Jerry) of Sampson County; aunts- Rosa Hagan, Dunn, NC and Ollie Williams of Godwin, NC; sisters-In-law- Rebecca Frederick (Henry) of Lillington, NC, Barbara Johnson (Lewis) of Erwin, NC, Agnes Chambers (Arthur) of Goldsboro, N.C, Helen McLean of Erwin, NC, Diane McKoy of Lillington NC; brother-In-Laws, Ernest Stewart (Lois) of Dunn, NC, Bobby Stewart (Pastor Deborah) of Dunn N.C, Melivn Stewart (Brenda) of Dunn NC, Gary Stewart (Adrienae) of Lillington NC, and Glen Stewart of Linden, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held at Dafford Funeral Home- Dunn, Thursday, October 5, 2023, from 1PM-5PM. MASKS ARE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.

Funeral Service will be held at Cape Fear Conference A, Erwin, Friday, October 6, 2023 @ 1PM, following the guidelines of the facility for entrance and capacity.

Interment will follow in the Riverside Community Cemetery, Erwin.
