Mr. Jerry Lee Blackmon, Sr.

We are saddened to announce that Mr. Jerry Lee Blackmon, Sr., 70, of 776 Sanderfer Road, Bunnlevel, passed away July 12, 2024. 

 The family will receive friends at 1575 McLean Chapel Church Road, Bunnlevel.

Jerry leaves to cherish fond memories, his wife- Betty Blackmon; one son- Jerry Blackmon Jr. (Candice); one daughter- Belinda Blackmon (Bubba) of Fayetteville, NC; one step-daughter- Pam Barfield; five granddaughters- Jerenda Blackmon, Jadaya Blackmon, Janiya Munn (Nijah), Jalisha Blackmon and Javon’ Wheatfall; two great grandchildren- Kasen and Kasey Wheatfall, all of Fayetteville, NC; three sisters- Elaine McLean and Shelia Wallace, both of Hyattsville, MD and Angel McLean of Raleigh, NC; one sister in law- Carolyn Carter; one brother in law-  Michael Carter (Kerry); one aunt-  Wanda Baldwin (Aunt Kaye); four uncles- Charlie Blackmon, David Blackmon, Nathaniel Blackmon and Linwood Blackmon; a devoted and loyal friend- Deborah Blackmon of Bunnlevel, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held at Dafford Funeral Home, Dunn, Saturday, July 20, 2024, from 1PM-5PM.

Funeral Service will be held at Cape Fear Conference A, Erwin, Sunday, July 21, 2024 @ 2PM, following the guidelines of the facility for entrance and capacity.

Interment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
