Mr. John Marshall Clegg, Sr

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. John Clegg, Sr, 78, of Godwin, on Friday, April 18, 2025.

Mr. Clegg leaves to cherish his memories, wife- Margarite Clegg; two sons- John Jr. Clegg (Melissa) of Dunn, NC and Eric Marshall Clegg (Monique) of Coats, NC; two daughters- Annie Fields of Durrant, OK and Tamika Brown of Indianapolis, IN; four sisters- Pearline Wilson of Jacksonville, FL, Betty Wright, Barbara Rodriguez and Brenda Jackson, all of Fayetteville, NC; one brother-  David Clegg of Fayetteville, NC; one God daughter-Senetria Williams; one special daughter- Teresa Blue; 22 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held at Fayetteville Deliverance Evangelistic Center, Fayetteville, Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 12PM-12:55PM.

Funeral Service will follow @ 1PM, following the guidelines of the church for entrance and capacity.

Interment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
