Mr. Leroy Ledbetter

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Leroy Ledbetter, 76, of 4835 Pine St., Linden on Monday, December 2, 2024.

Leroy leaves to cherish his memories, wife of 51 years- Katie Ledbetter; one daughter- Lucinda Tutt of the home; three sisters- First Lady Lena Gainey (Senior Pastor Dr. James E. Gainey Sr.), Gayle Bell (Norman) and Doris Ledbetter, all of Norrington, NC; five brothers- Deacon Jerry Ledbetter of Norrington, NC, Bishop Isaac Ledbetter (First Lady Mae Lena) of Erwin, NC, Deacon Charles M. Ledbetter (Mary) of Erwin, NC, Solomon Ledbetter (Elder Jeanette) , Erwin,  NC and Perry Ledbetter (Helen) of Sanford, NC; sisters-in-law- Jenny Ledbetter, Dianne Ledbetter both of Lillington, NC, Alma Spencer of Linden, NC, Wendy Nelson (Gary), Cynthia Chance, Arletha Chance, all of Baltimore, MD; special goddaughter- Demetrius (DeDe) Cameron of Linden, NC; two special buddies- Frankie Tyndall and Howard Jones both of Erwin, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public Viewing will be held at Dafford Funeral Home, Dunn, Friday, December 13, 2024, from 2PM-3PM.

Funeral Service will be held at Cape Fear Conference A, Erwin, Saturday, December 14, 2024 @ 1PM, following the guidelines of the facility for entrance and capacity.

Interment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
