Mr. Lewis McLean

Mr. Lewis McLean, 74, of 114 Lynnville Court, Lillington, passed away January 4, 2024.

His devotion to his loved ones knew no bounds. Lewis found great joy in the company of his three sons: Lamar (Tonia) of Linden, NC; Mike (Greg) of Atlanta, GA; and Reggie (Sandy) of Dunn, NC. Together, they created cherished memories through shared sports activities and camaraderie.

Lewis held a special place in the hearts of the Grady-McLean-Moore-Tucker families, affectionately known as "Uncle Lewis." His warm and playful nature endeared him to the younger generations, leaving an enduring legacy of love and guidance.

Survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Jannie (Lois, mom, Aunt Lois), Lewis's devotion to their marriage was an inspiration to all. He also leaves behind two grandchildren, Shaun Harris and Sierria McLean, who brought immeasurable joy to his life.

Viewing will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 11:00 am until 11:55 am at Oak Grove AME Zion Church in Erwin, with the Celebration of Life service to begin at 12Noon, following the church's guidelines for entrance and capacity.  Interment will follow in the Riverside Community Cemetery, Erwin.
