Mr. Roderick Douglas

It is with heartfelt sympathy that we announce the passing of Mr. Roderick Douglas, 58, of 78 Patterson St., Lillington, on Monday, April 7, 2025. 

He was born on December 10, 1966 to the late Wyatt Jr. and Carolene Douglas. He graduated from Harnett Central High School in Angier, and worked as a groundskeeper at Campbell University until his passing.  He enjoyed playing softball and his family gatherings.

He leaves to cherish his memories:  son - Quintin Douglas of Lillington; sisters - Debra Hood of Spring Lake, Shelia Walden (Marshall) of Coats; brother - David Douglas of Waterbury, Connecticut,  a special friend - Niecey Patterson of Lillington; one grandson, several nieces and nephews.

The public viewing will be at the Dafford Funeral Home Chapel, Dunn, Monday, April 14, 2025 from 10AM - 1:55PM.  The Funeral Service will follow at 2PM., following the guidelines of the facility for entrance and capacity.  Interment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
