It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Rufus L. Motley, 79, of 65 Pemberton Ln, Newton Grove on Saturday, November 30, 2024.

Mr. Rufus leaves to cherish his memories, his wife- Maria Quinones; children- Michael Motley of MA and Ronathan Bullock of OH; step-children- George Williams, Larry Williams, and De Andra Williams; grandchild- Messiyah Motley; siblings- Lola Bell Rawlinson of AL, Larry Johnson (Teresa) of Tampa, FL; Ruth Deramus of Prattville, AL, Matilda Howard of Avita, AL, Ervin Johnson of FL, Joseph B. Johnson (Mae) of FL, Adoris Howard of AL, and Henry L. Durden ( Erlene) of Ohio; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held at Dafford Funeral Home- Dunn, Monday, December 9, 2024, from 11AM-12:55PM.

Graveside Service will follow at Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn, Monday, December 9, 2024 @ 1PM, following the guidelines of the staff for entrance and capacity.
