Mr. Wilbert Lee Staton

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Wilbert Lee Staton, 81, of 20 Pine Needles Drive, Lillington on Thursday, June 20, 2024.

Wilbert leaves to cherish his memories, wife- Joe Ann Staton; children- Vera Brown, Mary Whitehead, Jacqueline Acklin (Eddie), Antoinette Ruffins, Velma Utley (Thomas), Essie Pugh (Mickey), Yolanda Staton (Claude), Joan McAllister (Paul), Patricia McNeill (Rossie), Dianna McBryde Sanders (James), Richard McBryde (Sherika) and Tinera Hayes; 30 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; 25 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held at Dafford Funeral Home- Dunn, Friday, June 28, 2024, from 1PM-5PM.

Funeral Service will be held at Victory Tabernacle Church, Lillington, Saturday, June 29, 2024 @ 1PM, following the guidelines of the church for entrance and capacity.
