Mr. Willie Rogers Elliott

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Mr. Willie R. Elliott, 76, of 63 John Elliott Ln, Linden, on Thursday, June 26, 2025.

Mr. Willie leaves to cherish his loving memories, one daughter- Sandra Stroud (Sherman) of Bunnlevel, NC; three sons- Terry Elliott of the home, Willie S. Elliott (Vickie) of Spring Lake, NC and Jeremy Elliott of Lillington, NC; thirteen grandchildren- Brittany, Markeya, T’Asia (Keshaun), Tony (Samantha), Tonisha (Davante’), T’Ayriah, Shedary, Jowan, Tresmon, Terius, Khloe’, Karter, and Ky’Lee; sixteen  great-grandchildren- Laila, Kaiden, Nevaeh, Brayden, Tiana, Tristan, Taliah, Cassidy, Symphony, Savion, Samaria, Summer, Jordyn, Zion, Ayden and Amari; two sisters- Brenda Hart of Linden, NC and Avenelle Surles of Bunnlevel, NC; three brothers- Vernon Elliott (Teresa) of Fuquay Varina, NC, David Elliott (Elaine) of Bunnlevel, NC and Charles Henry Elliott of Erwin, NC; a special niece that’s like a sister- Jacqueline Elliott of Linden, NC; one aunt- Ida Ruth Mitchell of Newport News, VA; seven sisters-in-law-  Mary Elliott, Katie Elliott, Glenda Elliott, Zillar Elliott, Mary M. Elliott, Rosie Hart, and Pauline Hart; two brothers-in-law- James Hart (Juanita), David Moore; best friends- Jimmy Chalmers, Sherman Stroud, Willie Mitchell and his good friend Daryl Hicks; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held at Dafford Funeral Home- Dunn, Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 1PM-5PM.

Funeral Service will be held at Cape Fear Conference A, Erwin, Wednesday, July 2, 2024 @ 1PM, following the guidelines of the facility for entrance and capacity.

Interment will follow in the Anderson Creek Church Cemetery, Linden.
