It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Ardella Bethea Spears, 97, of 6235 US Hwy 421 S, Buies Creek, on Friday, July 26, 2024.
Mother Ardella leaves to cherish her memories, children- Peggy (Eddie) Mills of Zebulon, NC, Karen (Ken) Blacknell of Duluth, GA, Sharri Spears-Miles of Charlotte, NC, Pamela Spears of Upper Marlboro, MD, June Spears of the home, Gloria Spears James of Woodbridge, VA, Kim Spears of Stafford, VA, Faith (Randolph) Thompson of Raleigh, NC, Lori Spears of Fairfield, CA, and Crystal Spears-Jones of Conyers, GA; brothers-in-law- Nathaniel (Shelia) of Goldsboro, NC and Larry (Joy) of Lillington, NC; 20 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Public viewing will be held at Dafford Funeral Home- Dunn, Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 5PM-6PM.
Funeral Service will be held at Cape Fear Conference A, Erwin, Sunday, August 4, 2024 @ 3PM, following the guidelines of the facility for entrance and capacity.
Interment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
