Mrs. Beatrice "Mom Perry" Perry

Mrs. Beatrice “Mom Perry” Perry, 91, of Upper Marlboro, MD, formerly of Dunn, NC, passed away peacefully at home on August 10, 2025, surrounded by family and friends.

A 1951 graduate of Harnett High County Training School, she was the daughter of the late Viola and James W. Adams, Sr., and the wife of the late U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant Joseph A. Perry. A devoted mother, grandmother, and woman of faith, she lived around the world as a military spouse and was a longtime member of Heritage Fellowship Church in Reston, VA.

She is survived by her children: Rocky Perry, Elizabeth Adams, Deitra Young, and Dallas Perry; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

Virginia Services:

Home going celebration will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Heritage Fellowship Church of Christ, 2501 Fox Hill Road, Reston, VA 20194 where the family will receive friends from 12:00 pm. until 1:00 p.m. with services to follow at 1:00 pm.

North Carolina Services:

Public viewing will be held on Friday, August 22, at Dafford Funeral Home, Dunn, NC from 11:00 am until 11:30 am with graveside services to follow at 12:00 noon at Resthaven Cemetery in Dunn, NC.
